Facebook recently announced its new advanced matching options for Custom Audiences which will be rolled out over the next two months to advertisers. Previously, matching was done based on:
- Phone number
- Mobile advertiser ID
- Facebook app user ID
The new matching now includes:
- First name
- Last name
- Zip or postal code
- City
- State
- Country
- Date of birth
- Year of birth
- Age
- Gender
This new update allows companies to boost their performance through direct marketing and drive a greater success for campaigns.
