Facebook Adds Advanced Matching Options for Custom Audiences

Facebook recently announced its new advanced matching options for Custom Audiences which will be rolled out over the next two months to advertisers. Previously, matching was done based on:

  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Mobile advertiser ID
  • Facebook app user ID

The new matching now includes:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Zip or postal code
  • City
  • State
  • Country
  • Date of birth
  • Year of birth
  • Age
  • Gender

This new update allows companies to boost their performance through direct marketing and drive a greater success for campaigns.
