Recently, Instagram announced a new helpful advertising tool for businesses called Instagram Insights. Similar to Audience Insights, Instagram Insights allows businesses to know their followers and, consequently, reach the right audience with the right, relevant message. With Instagram Insights, Businesses will be able to see their followers’ interaction with their page. This includes total impressions (how many individuals have viewed your posts), reach (how many unique individuals have viewed your posts), website clicks (how many individuals have clicked on your website link), and follower activity (how active your followers are on Instagram) Additionally, Instagram lets business know the age, gender, and location of their followers.[bctt tweet=”@Instagram launches new tools for businesses.” username=””]
Business owners unfamiliar with Instagram Insights do not need to worry. The bottom of each Insights page includes a button that says “what do these mean,” which defines that particular Insights’ feature.
Instagram Insights is only available to those with a business account. Because Insights is gradually rolling out, it may not currently be available to your app.
