You Can Now Create Click-to-Messenger Ads for Instagram

When people want to learn more about your business, the faster they can contact you the better. On May 31, Facebook announced Click-to-Messenger ads for Instagram. Previously, the feature was only available on Facebook.

The new ad feature takes users to a Messenger conversation that contains more information about the business or brand. Click-to-Messenger ads are available for image, video, and carousel ad formats.

Benefits of Instagram’s Click-to-Messenger Ads

Now you can instantly direct users with questions or interest to your business. As a result, your business, which can now easily engage with users, are more accessible. The experience becomes a simple one rather than a complex one that requires time to submit a contact form or to be on hold during a phone call.

Click-to-Messenger ads give businesses and brands increased exposure to 1.2 billion monthly Messenger users. Additionally, according to Facebook, there are over 100,000 monthly active bots on Messenger, and over two billion messages exchanged between businesses and users on a monthly basis.

Click to Messenger ads are available in Ads Manager, Power Editor, and the API.
