Power Editor, a tool designed for advertisers who create and manage multiple ads at once, allows you to do advanced tasks such as importing data from Excel and managing bulk ads, individual ads, and ads sets. Power Editor, although only available on chrome when accessing through desktop, comes as an app version which Facebook released in 2015 due to a growing need to manage Facebook ads on the go. With the Power Editor App, users can track ad performance, edit existing ads, edit ad budgets and schedules, receive push notifications, and create ads.
Although the app allows advertisers to create and edit ads on the go, it is still recommended that they use Power Editor on desktop. With a larger screen and keyboard, it is easier to use.
To access Power Editor, you’ll need to go to facebook.com using the Chrome browser and follow the steps below.
Step 1: Go to Power Editor
Click the “Business Manager” tab and, from the drop down menu, click “Power Editor“.
Step 2: You’re done!
Once in Power Editor, you can edit from the campaign, ads set, or ads level. Think of these levels as a matryoshka doll. Open the campaign level, and you will find ad sets within it. Open ad sets, and you will find ads within it. The farther you go into these levels, the more specific it gets.
