You may have seen the verification hold on your credit card after adding a payment method. The verification hold is $1.01 and is only a temporary charge while they are validating your new online payment method, whether it is your primary payment card or backup payment card. This is required of everyone and is usually resolved within 3-5 business days. While it is a nuisance, this is something you should go forward with so you can eventually pay for your account spendings.

How Do I Verify My Online Banking Account?
After you input your payment method into your Facebook Ads Manager (something only an admin of a page can do), you want to get it verified as soon as possible to put it behind you. After all, you want to focus on actually creating your ad campaigns and getting as many leads and conversions as possible, not on proving that your payment methods are legitimate. However, it is a necessary evil.
One way to verify your banking account is to log onto it from Facebook. Facebook will ask the name of your bank and then prompt your login information. If you choose to go along with this method, your online banking account will be verified automatically.
The other way is to verify it manually. The beginning steps are similar in which you will be prompted to fill out your banking information and allow Facebook to deposit a small amount of money into it to ensure its validity.
After 3 business days, you should be able to see an update under your Ads Manager on your verification status and Facebook will also send you an email.

No, do not fret over the verification hold. It is not a reflection of you, your account, or your validity. A verification hold is a nuisance that you must deal with for Facebook’s sake. After all, at the end of the day they want to make sure that the ad campaigns you are benefiting from on their platform is also benefiting them.
