What is a Facebook Event?
Facebook events can be created by anyone, businesses and personal pages alike. You can create an event from the same page that you do most things— your news feed! Navigate to your toolbar and click create event, from which you will be prompted to fill out the details such as the title the invitees will see, the description, the cover photo, and we can’t forget the pragmatic details such as where it is happening and when it is happening.
These events allow for pages to be created in which you can also see who responded (going, not going, maybe) or other content posts that may have been organically generated in addition to admin/moderator posts trying to engage with the invitees and remind them of the evnet as the day gets closer and closer.
Especially in the age of COVID-19, creating Facebook events has gotten more and more popular. People are spending extra time online and if the event itself is online as well, that takes a lot of work out of the consumer’s part. Who wouldn’t like a fun and engaging thing to do while still at home?

How Do I Get More Event Responses and Attendants?
To watch your event invitations rise, your content needs to stand out. How do you make people want to come (or at least be interested in what you will be doing)?
First, be intentional with your color choices, photo choices, and get crafty with the copy of the title and body of the ad. After all, this is all the user has to gauge their photo on at first. Plus, you want it to be consistent with your brand. If you are targeting your audience right, after looking into your event they will look into other aspects of your company.
How do Event Ad Campaigns Work?
Event ad campaigns are ad campaigns with the objective of getting a positive response to your event ad. In other words, you want to get as many members of your target audience to reply to the ad when they see it (or with the way post attribution works, within 7 days of seeing it) and reply that they will be going to your event.
Their attendance is to your advantage because it builds a relationship with them, even if they are not actively buying your products yet. In other words, attendance generates more leads.
Attending an event makes them more likely to go and interact with other posts that may be less time-consuming on your end. They feel like they know the face behind the brand which is integral to standing out in the business market.
